The following information about the connection can be obtained:
- Download speed and upload speed: This is the speed of the up/down connection that your connection presents concerning the Virtway servers.
- Latency or ping: Measured in milliseconds (or ms), it measures the time that your computer takes to communicate with the server. In other words, it is the period that passes from when your computer sends a data packet until it is received back once it has been processed by the server. The lower the ping, the better. The ping should be below 100 ms. Above 65 ms the connection is very acceptable and you should have no problem maintaining a smooth video call.
- Jitter: It shows how consistent that time is (the fluctuation between the maximum and minimum). The jitter value should be kept below 20 milliseconds. If it goes beyond 30 milliseconds, then it will have a noticeable impact on the user's connection quality.
